This is the original kit introduced to increase the CP3 pumps capabilities. A stock pump on a stock truck does a decent job of providing enough fuel volume to serve the injectors needs. Once additional demand is placed upon it, it can no longer keep up. Rail pressure starts to fall off and takes a long time to build.

This kit addresses the ramp and recovery rates. The modified components in this kit allow more fuel to flow into the pumping plungers, for additional flow. Everyone asks for the increase in percentage, we do not rate the increase in percent, as it varies with the condition of the pump. Generally a truck with a fuel system in good condition will benefit with a solid 50hp increase, some more some less. As we have tons of before and after dyno results from customers who installed the kit. Some have eclipsed 700 hp with this kit in addition to other modifictaions. Some have reported mileage increases, we do not promote it as a mileage maker, but it has in some cases improved mileage and reduced fuel consumption. Most everyone reports greater throttle response and more top end power.

Generally it can support good programming and up to 90hp injectors, some have reported they maintain good rail pressure with 150's. As there is so much variance between one trucks capabilities versus another, results will certainly vary. We have revised this kit 3 times, making an improvement each time.
